Aqua-Dek is a finished decking
system for fresh or saltwater docks, walkways and decks. It is a
lightweight, strong and durable alternative to traditional and heavier
decking materials like wood and plastic lumber. Aqua-Dek is designed
to be installed over a wood, aluminum or steel framework, and offers
advantages for dock builders and dock owners. |

The Aqua-Dek panels are easy to
install and designed specifically to mount on 18" or 24” center framing (see figure
1) without a loss of support strength, and reducing the structural frame
members needed.
Each panel has six pre-drilled
and countersunk mounting holes to accept # 10 or #12 pan head screws
(stainless steel recommended). The screws need to be hand tightened only to
allow for slight expansion and contraction of the panels due to air
temperature changes. Each panel has a 1/2” flange on one side so the next
panel will overlap the first for a seamless fit.
